Doosan Bobcat donates to hurricane relief
Doosan Bobcat donated over $325,000 of Bobcat equipment and Doosan portable power light towers and generators to assist with Hurricane Harvey and Hurrican Irma relief efforts. The company is also providing financial assistance to affected Doosan employees and their families.
Hyundai Construction Equipment donates to hurricane relief
Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas donated $50,000 to the United Way of Greater Houston in support of Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. In addition, Hyundai Forklift is making arrangements to donate a forklift to a Houston-area non-profit organization for use in cleanup efforts.

HammerHead Trenchless Equipment will now be referred to as HammerHead Trenchless to better summarize the full range of solutions offered to the industry.
McLaughlin hires Lee as regional sales manager
McLaughlin welcomed Cory Lee as regional sales manager, and he will serve the company’s clients in the southwest. Lee, previously with Vermeer, brings over 15 years' sales knowledge and five years' management experience to his new role.
Subsite Electronics acquires R.S. Technical
Subsite Electronics announced the acquisition of the assets of R.S. Technical Services. The deal adds camera inspection capabilities to Subsite’s line of Underground Awareness solutions. Operations will continue in Petaluma, California, and Mount Sterling, Kentucky, and RST products will continue to be available through the current RST dealer network.
NASSCO joins UESI as Charter Member
The National Association of Sewer Service Companies was named as a Charter Organizational Member of the Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers. UESI’s mission is to meet infrastructure challenges to reduce infrastructure project life cycle costs by 50 percent by 2025.
J&J Truck Bodies appoints new sales staff
J&J Truck Bodies announced that Adam Bowers and Quintin Wyandt have joined the inside sales team. Both will be responsible for providing product information and quotes, ensuring a smooth sales process and offering after-the-sale support.
Komatsu America pledges money to Hurricane Harvey relief
Komatsu America announced it plans to provide a $250,000 cash donation to the American Red Cross to support Hurricane Harvey relied efforts. The company will also match dollar-for-dollar all contributions made by its employees and subsidiary-company employees. Between manufacturing and foundry plants, distributors and other support functions, there are more than 1,000 Komatsu-affiliated staff members and their families in Texas.
AEM supports Irma disaster relief
The Association of Equipment Manufacturers donated $5,000 to the American Red Cross to assist with Hurricane Irma relief efforts. This is in addition to the association's previous $5,000 donation in response to Hurricane Harvey. AEM has also set up a link through its ICUEE trade show website to offer attendees the opportunity to donate to the Red Cross.
Manitou Americas donates to harvey relief efforts (online only)
Manitou Americas announced a $10,000 donation to the American Red Cross in support of Hurrican Harvey relief efforts. The company is also challenging its suppliers to match their donation through The Manitou Challenge donation campaign.
