Truck Bodies & Equipment International (TBEI) recently announced the hire of Steve McDonough as General Manager for its DuraClass manufacturing facility in Tishomingo, Miss. McDonough has spent the past 28 years in several key management roles in the automotive and industrial manufacturing industries. 

McDonough spent 12 years with Gates Rubber Company in Denver, Colo., in various production, quality and plant management positions before moving on to Akebono Brake Corporation in Elizabethtown, Ky. In 15 years with Akebono, McDonough served as manufacturing manager and eventually general manager. 

Bob Fines, TBEI president and CEO, is excited to welcome McDonough to the DuraClass team. “Steve brings with him the kind of knowledge and experience that will continue to position the DuraClass brand as the leader in the industry,” Fines said. “He is an excellent addition to DuraClass and we are very pleased to bring him on board.” 

DuraClass designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of premium Class 3 – 8 dump bodies, hoists, and related equipment and offers more than 100 years of engineering and manufacturing expertise.
