Ames Engineering & Development Services, LLC, one of Williston’s established civil engineering firms, is excited to announce the addition of three new employees to its staff: Serena Christianson, Cassie Klemetson and Jacob Porter have joined Ames’ staff, expanding the services that Ames’ offers.
As marketing and public relations director, Serena Christianson will develop and implement promotional strategies for Ames' various markets. Before joining Ames, Christianson was the program coordinator and assistant professor of business at Williston State College. Christianson is a certified personal trainer, teaching fitness classes at Anytime Fitness. She also co-founded Kay Michael Lee Studio, a thriving dance studio in Williston. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Jamestown (Jamestown, N.D.), where she received a B.A. in business administration and communication with a minor in leadership. She earned her M.B.A. with a leadership emphasis from Grand Canyon University (Phoenix, Ariz).
Cassie Klemetson, Ames’ office manager, serves as the face of the company, greeting customers and clients when they enter the office. She also assists the controller, Ronda Pokrzywinski, in managing the financial operations of Ames, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and transparency on all projects and reports. Klemetson is very familiar with the Midwestern mentality and work ethic, as she was born in Hillsboro, N.D., and graduated high school from Grand Forks, N.D. She then left Grand Forks to gain accounting and management experience while working on her degree in Fargo, N.D. She graduated from Rasmussen College, where she received an A.S. in Accounting. Prior to joining Ames, Ms. Klemetson was the Accounting/Office Administrator for Probuild (Williston, N.D.).
Rounding out the design team is Jacob Porter of Detroit Lakes, Minn. As Ames’ newest CADD technician, Porter takes the client's vision of a project and makes it reality through detailed and customized designs. Before joining Ames, Porter focused on his academic studies with a completion of his B.S. in civil engineering and architecture through Minnesota State University – Moorhead.
