Fast-Vac/Multi-Vac was the successful bidder this month to supply the South Eastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority with a self-contained Shuttle-Vac style vacuum loader. This unit will travel on a railcar while two operators vacuum both wet and dry debris from the Philadelphia subway system.
The MV130SPVL vacuum loader is entirely self-contained. It comes equipped with a Cummins Tier IV Final 130 hp diesel, hydraulic side dumping debris doors, work lights, sound enclosure, pendant controls and on-board control panel.
This Shuttle-Vac is loaded/off-loaded using a fork lift truck or with the onboard crane. All manufacturing is done at the Fast-Vac facility in Union Grove, Wisconsin.
