Cat Pumps compact mobile hydroexcavating spline shaft pumps
Cat Pumps offers the trusted performance of the 2565 and 3560 pumps with a new direct-mount flange and hollow spline shaft. This innovation addresses the challenges of limited space and allows pairing with compact SAE hydraulic motors. Model 2565T13 achieves flows to 20 gpm at pressures up to 3,000 psi and pairs to an SAE B hydraulic motor with a 13-tooth spline shaft. This reduces the width of the pump by over 7 1/2 inches compared to the standard bell housing configuration. Models 3560T14 and 3560RST14 pair with SAE C hydraulic motors with a 14-tooth spline shaft and can pump 20 gpm up to 4,000 psi or 25 gpm up to 3,000 psi. These models significantly decrease the overall pump and bell housing width by more than 8 inches and permit the motor to be mounted on either side. Vermeer MTR516 microtrencher attachment
The new Vermeer MTR516 microtrencher attachment is built for contractors who need to install fiber optics efficiently with less restoration work. It cuts trenches up to 17 inches deep, helping crews quickly connect neighborhoods to high-speed internet, especially in urban areas by helping to reduce impact on surrounding property and infrastructure. The attachment features a fully shrouded cutting wheel that covers the blade during operation, contains debris and optimizes vacuum suction. The MTR516 microtrencher has a replaceable spoil outlet for 4- or 6-inch vac hoses that can be swapped out in the field. Multiple bolt-in wear plates are field-serviceable, and a dual-hinged access panel gives unhindered access for blade servicing and replacement.
