The North American Society for Trenchless Technology has announced its recently updated virtual Cured-in-Place Pipe Good Practices Course, scheduled this week for Sept. 24-25. The course will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET time each day, with breaks provided.
This comprehensive course offers an in-depth look at CIPP rehabilitation for gravity sewers, covering everything from planning and design to project implementation and verification. It also includes an overview of CIPP in pressure applications and sewer lateral programs.
Significant updates to the curriculum incorporate the most current information, including the latest releases of ASTM F1216-Appendix X1; ASCE MOP 145; and an overview of the soon-to-be-released American Water Works Association Design Appendices for Pressure Pipe Design of CIPP.
The course also features new content on the environmental and safety aspects of CIPP, including the latest research on volatile organic compound management.
The cost to attend is a discounted member rate of $300 and a non-member rate of $350. The fee includes course attendance, handouts, and a continuing education unit certificate from Louisiana Tech University. A digital training manual will be sent to all registered participants before the course begins.
