NASTT offers multiple in-depth, high-quality training courses each year in person in cities throughout North America, as well as a virtual webinar format covering targeted trenchless topics, such as CIPP, horizontal directional drilling, pipe bursting, laterals and new installation methods. NASTT strives to produce high-quality course content that is peer-reviewed for noncommercialized, consensus-based information.
Book smart
NASTT’s CIPP Good Practices Guidelines book and course training materials began their development in 2004. Installation methodologies, tube and resin systems, engineering methodologies, and technologies have advanced over the past several years, and significant updates were recently made so that the book and course materials are current and relevant.
The second edition is coming in 2026. The all-new NASTT CIPP Good Practices course provides a comprehensive overview of gravity sewer CIPP rehabilitation from planning, through design, project implementation, and verification. It also provides an overview of CIPP in pressure applications and in sewer lateral programs. Major updates in design include both the most current ASTM F1216- Appendix X1 releases, ASCE MOP 145 and an overview of the soon-to-be-released AWWA Design Appendices for Pressure Pipe Design of CIPP. Other enhancements include environmental and safety aspects of CIPP, including the latest research on VOC management.
Looking ahead at 2026 No-Dig
Registration opens in December for the next No-Dig Show, and the trenchless industry is heading to Palm Springs, California, March 29 to April 2 for a week of innovation, education and collaboration. As cities worldwide face increasing demands for sustainable underground infrastructure, the NASTT 2026 No-Dig Show stands as the premier event for professionals who design, build and maintain these essential systems.
