Joe Johnson expands U.S. footprint
Federal Signal has named Joe Johnson Equipment the exclusive dealer for its Vactor products in Indiana and Louisiana and the exclusive dealer for Elgin products in Indiana, excluding Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties. Additionally, JJE will also provide service and parts support for other Federal Signal products including Guzzler and Truvac. This announcement comes after JJE completed its successful expansion into Virginia and underscores the company’s commitment to delivering infrastructure equipment and solutions across the U.S.
NUCA announces new leadership structure
The National Utility Contractors Association announced a strengthened leadership structure designed to modernize the association and position it for long-term growth. Chris Barrett has been named chief staff officer and Zack Perconti will take on the role of chief advocacy officer. The CSO is charged with internal management and governance while the CAO will focus on advocacy, external relationships and industry influence. Barrett, who has served with NUCA for nine years, most recently as interim CEO, will continue to lead operations, governance and financial oversight in her new CSO role. Perconti, who has been instrumental in NUCA’s lobbying and advocacy efforts, will now focus full time on expanding NUCA’s external engagement, membership growth and industry partnerships.
KOBELCO and Trimble expand collaboration
KOBELCO Construction Machinery and Trimble announced an expanded collaboration that makes the Trimble Earthworks grade control platform 2D guidance and control systems available directly through select KOBELCO dealers in North America. This new offering, launched as KOBELCO’s certified Trimble Earthworks 2D grade control program, is now available at KOBELCO dealers across North America, enhancing machine productivity and job site precision. This program enables certified KOBELCO dealers to offer and install Trimble 2D machine guidance and control systems and offers customers a pathway to all the benefits of grade control technology, including 3D grade control.
