Ames Engineering & Development Services LLC, one of Williston’s established civil engineering firms, is excited to announce that Kevin Ralphs and Robert Wilson have joined Ames’ staff, expanding the services that Ames’ offers.

Ames’ project manager, Kevin Ralphs, is the liaison between Ames and its clients on project sites. Before joining Ames, Ralphs was the operations manager for Consolidated Engineering Laboratories in Salt Lake City, Utah. He brings 35 years of progressive responsibility in engineering, material testing services and construction management to Ames. Originally of Manila, Utah, Ralphs received his B.S. degree in civil engineering from Utah State University (Logan, Utah). Continuing education is important to Ralphs: He is a certified reinforced concrete masonry construction inspector, holds a Nuclear Testing Equipment (densities) Hazmat Certification, completed nuclear gauge safety training, and is also USACE quality-control certified.

Robert Wilson, originally from Port Neches, Texas, brings many years of experience in the construction and civil engineering industries. He is Ames’ newest surveyor, with previous experience as a field engineer on multiple projects spanning oil refineries to canals across the southern United States. He holds a Texas Society of Professional Surveyors Certificate and TWIC certification as well as further education in civil engineering, construction quality management and hazardous waste operations.
