JCB celebrates 70th anniversary

JCB marked its 70th anniversary Oct. 23 by giving its employees around the world a day off. The day also marked the introduction of the JCB limited edition backhoe loader, a version of the 3XC super backhoe model. A total of 70 of the specially made machine will be produced, which feature the vintage look last seen 40 years ago on the JCB 3CIII model.


Gehl welcomes Caliber Equipment to dealer network

Gehl has announced that Caliber Equipment has joined its dealer network. Caliber Equipment provides sales and service to Vancouver, British Columbia, and the surrounding areas for Gehl track loaders, skid loaders, compact excavators, telescopic handlers and articulated loaders.


Cloverleaf Tool purchases Jetter Parts Depot

Cloverleaf Tool, based in Sarasota, Florida, a manufacturer and distributor of pipeline and sewer cleaning and maintenance equipment for jetters and jet/vacs, has purchased Jetter Parts Depot of Orlando, Florida.


McElroy adds new distributor in Louisiana

McElroy has announced the addition of a new distributor, Industrial Municipal Supply Co. of Geismar, Louisiana, to service pipe fusion machine customers throughout the state. IMSCO has 40 years of experience in custom fusion service, on-site fabrication and maintenance on McElroy machines in addition to being a supplier of HDPE pipe, valves and fittings.


Vanair announces expansion

Vanair Manufacturing announced the acquisition of an 80,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Michigan City, Indiana, to accommodate increased growth and future expansion. The acquisition brings the company’s total production and office space to over 160,000 square feet. The new space will provide capacity for increased manufacturing, training, support, service and leadership functions across the company.


Quam Construction joins list of LMK licensed contractors

Quam Constuction has joined the LMK Technologies’ network of independent licensed contractors for the T-Liner Main-to-Lateral Connection Lining System in July. As part of their underground utilities division that services municipal, commercial and residential areas, Quam has announced plans to become licensed in LMK’s Performance Liner Sectional Spot Repair, cured-in-place manhole rehabilitation, and VAC-A-TEE Cleanout systems.


Caterpillar Inc. honored with 2015 Vision for America Award

Keep America Beautiful honored Caterpillar with the 2015 Vision for America Award for corporate commitment to sustainability on Nov. 4 in New York.


J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers named director of operations

Joseph F. Caldrone has been promoted to director of operations for J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers the company announced. Caldrone, who has been with the company for 21 years starting as a machinist, will be responsible for directing the company’s operations department, which includes engineering, purchasing, manufacturing and quality.
