John Deere added an onboard grade indication option for its G-Series skid-steers and compact track loaders for jobs that involve leveling and slope work. The option provides readout of the cross slope and main-fall slope of the machine in real time through the main display monitor in either percentage or degrees. Ditch Witch JT20XP directional drill package
Powered by a 74.5 hp Tier 4 Deutz diesel engine, the new JT20XP horizontal directional drill package from Ditch Witch utilizes onboard horsepower for thrust and rotation. The package includes the JT20XP drill and XP44 mixing system, and has a compact design for easy maneuverability among job sites. A newly designed operator’s station features ergonomic, adjustable seats and an advanced color LCD display shows engine diagnostics and informational messages. The 100- to 300-foot hose reel flat-surface-mount pressure washer from Water Cannon is made from heavy gauge steel and has a powder-coat finish. It is available with several mounting options including a hose guide welded to the hose reel frame, making it stronger and eliminating the extra load to the bushings, decreasing wear over time. An improved hose coupling allows for straight in-hose attachment, removing difficult installations and possible kinking. The new models of Loftness’ Battle Ax horizontal drum mulchers feature a new rotor, tooth design and two-stage cutting chamber. It is designed for vegetation management such as right-of-way maintenance, land clearing and forestry applications, and is available with 61- and 71-inch cutting widths for skid-steers with 50 to 120 hydraulic horsepower. The 17-inch-diameter rotor has built-in depth gauges to prevent the attachment from engaging too much material at one time.
