The North American Society for Trenchless Technology recently announced the launch of the Trenchless Career Center, a new dedicated resource for career growth and hiring in underground infrastructure. Whether you're a professional seeking your next opportunity or an employer looking for top talent, the Career Center aims to connect people across the trenchless industry.

For professionals, you can explore job listings, utilize résumé reviews, get interview tips and find career coaching services. For employers, you can post job openings and reach skilled trenchless professionals.

Virtual education

NASTT also is offering two virtual training courses in December, providing in-depth knowledge on specific trenchless technologies. Both courses are taught in a webinar format over two days, running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET each day.

The first course, on Direct Steerable Pipe Thrusting, will be held on Dec. 3–4. This course covers good practices for design and construction, development of DSPT, feasibility studies, geotechnical considerations and steel pipe design.

The second course focuses on Pipe Bursting Good Practices and will be held Dec. 10–11. This session covers the process of pipe bursting — a trenchless rehabilitation method for replacing an existing line with a new, equal or larger diameter pipe to maintain or increase flow capabilities.

The cost for each eight-hour course is a discounted member rate of $300 and a nonmember rate of $350. The fee for each course includes attendance, course handouts, a digital training manual (sent prior to the course), and a Continuing Education Unit certificate issued by Louisiana Tech University. While NASTT membership is not required to register, attendees must create a user account in the NASTT user portal to submit registration.
