Vacuum Truck Rentals announces new hires, certification

Vacuum Truck Rentals named Kevin Shepard the newest member of its sales team. He will serve the Merrillville, Indiana, region with more than 34 years of experience in the vacuum truck and heavy-equipment industry. VTR also named Jesse Medema as service manager at its Deer Park, Texas, location. He brings 20 years of experience as a mechanic, with 17 years exclusively in the vacuum truck industry.

The company also announced it is now a certified “R” Stamp Tank Repair Facility, having completed the necessary requirements set forth by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. As a certified facility, VTR is required to maintain high standards in all of its procedures when performing repairs including materials, technician skills and quality control procedures.


Vac-Con names new general manager for Vector Technologies

Vac-Con named Ned Zolinski general manager for Vector Technologies. In this role, he will oversee all aspects of the business from plant operations to sales and marketing. Zolinski holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration, both from Colorado State University.


Total Equipment expands Vermeer industrial representation

Total Equipment acquired the rights from Vermeer Caribbean to represent the Vermeer industrial product line in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Under the leadership of Charles de Armas, Total Equipment has represented Vermeer Corp.’s sales, service and parts in Puerto Rico since 2014. With this acquisition, the dealership will now operate under the Vermeer Total Equipment brand. Company headquarters will remain in Puerto Rico while the dealership offers the full line of Vermeer industrial equipment and full-service operations on the island of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and a commercial office in the Dominican Republic. 


Kaiser Premier announces partnership with Hathorn

Kaiser Premier announced a dealer/distributor and authorized service center partnership with Hathorn for its line of pipeline inspection camera solutions covering the West Coast of the U.S. Kaiser will be selling Hathorn’s DuraScope line of standard and Wi-Fi camera reels. The reels come fitted with the DuraCAM line of camera heads, command modules featuring VividHDTM and complete inspection camera systems.


Infinity Tool welcomes Ramey to sales team

Infinity Tool welcomed James Ramey in the position of North American sales. He has been involved in the rock bit business since leaving college and has a wealth of knowledge and practical experience. Ramey has also been responsible for many company departments, providing him an understanding of customer needs and manufacturing processes to optimize customer support.


Milwaukee Tool opens new service hub

Milwaukee Tool expanded its footprint with a new service hub in Greenwood, Indiana. Anticipated to open in March 2021, the centralized repair facility will complement the company’s other service hub in Greenwood, Mississippi. Both the Indiana facility and service hub in Mississippi will act as the main axis points for the company’s service operations for users around the U.S. The Indiana facility will employ more than 450 people.
