Dig Into These New Products at The Utility Expo 2025
The Utility Expo is the premier event for utility professionals and construction contractors to gain comprehensive insight into the latest technologies, innovations and trends affecting their industry. This year’s event, slated for Oct. 7-9 in Louisville, Kentucky, promises to show off some of the finest new products on the construction market. Below is a preview of some of the newest products that will be highlighted at this year’s show.
The Pipe Winch from ACME Trenchless makes trenchless pipe pulling quick and routinely easy. It delivers the pulling power needed — 20,000 pounds breakout force — applied to a MAX 7/16 pulling cable. The pulling cables are reusable, and the tensioned pulling cable remains safely inside the confines of the access pit. The winch attaches to a compact excavator or backhoe via a quick coupler and will dispatch to the access pit at any approach angle, having 360-degree rotation. It then locks in place, allowing for a perfect alignment to the existing waterline, while preserving the original bury depth. It works with lead, galvanized, copper and plastic piping. Also available are MAX pulling cables in 1/2-, 9/16- and 5/8-inch sizes along with a variety of pulling and splitting heads. The breakout force can be increased to up to 55,000 pounds.See ad on page 7. 920-376-4222; www.acmetrenchless.com; Booth N1963
