The John Deere 310SL HL backhoe is designed for a variety of jobs, including loading trucks, placing pipe, digging trenches, moving materials or tearing up asphalt. It meets today’s emission regulations through a 110 hp Final Tier 4 diesel engine. It also has a five-speed PowerShift transmission with speeds up to 25 mph. It can deliver up to 25 percent more backhoe-lift capacity under normal conditions than comparable K-Series models. Using the sealed-switch module, operators can get an additional 10 to 15 percent boost through the Lift Mode feature.
