The Arctic Supersucker cold-weather vacuum truck from Super Products LLC

The Arctic Supersucker cold-weather vacuum truck from Super Products LLC is designed for dependable operation in the coldest regions of North America. In addition to its 18-cubic-yard payload capacity, the cold-weather unit has a glycol-heated collector body, heated and insulated tailgate and low-temperature-rated hydraulic oil and hoses. The hydraulic tailgate latching system is liquid tight to prevent leakage in case of hydraulic malfunction. Latches and hinges are fully adjustable.

“The unit’s heated body is extremely valuable when working in bitter conditions as it prevents collected liquids from freezing,” says Tony Prokop, product specialist, Supersucker/Mud Dog. “And operators have the option of turning the heating system on or off as needed.”

The single-mode filtration system enables wet or dry material to be loaded without changeover. Reverse air pulsation continuously cleans the 60 snap-ring type, acrylic-coated filter bags.

Body dumping is achieved by a telescopic double-acting cylinder that provides a 51-degree dump angle. The body, baghouses and separator chamber hydraulically lift together.

Made to withstand subzero temperatures and primarily used in the Arctic oilfields to vacuum wet and dry materials around drilling rigs and clean frac tanks, the 8-inch positive displacement vacuum system delivers 5,800 cfm at 28 inches Hg.

Gauges and hydraulic levels are housed in a lighted, lockable enclosed cabinet, protecting them from the elements. Other cold-weather features include a hydraulic boom with stainless-steel cannon, weather-resistant wiring and pendant, LED work light package, 90-inch toolbox and dual liquid level indicators – one on the side and one on the back. 800/837-9711; www.superproductsllc.com.
