Iron Horse Hydrovac Co., of Minot, North Dakota, serves a wide range of customers from the oil and pipeline sectors, utility companies, contractors and other public entities throughout the state.

Services offered by Iron Horse include nondestructive excavation, daylighting and potholing, slot trenching, and site cleanup work.

Helping the company get the work done is its Ramvac HX-9 hydroexcavator mounted on a Freightliner six-wheel, all-wheel-drive chassis.

This unit offers a 9-cubic-yard debris body, 0 to 18 gpm at 2,500 psi water system all in a heated enclosure and a 1,300-gallon water tank. The machine also has a boom reach of 15 to 20 feet.
