When gas and electric utility CenterPoint Energy needed a few holes dug to install wider street poles but was having trouble finding a nearby waterline, T-Rex Services of Houston, Texas, provided hydroexcavation services to safely dig a clean hole without damaging the line.
The company posted a video on YouTube showing the process and highlighting how efficiently pressurized water and an industrial vacuum can be used to break up and remove soil.
