The two systems enable excavation capabilities not limited by freshwater availability as the air system uses dry spoils to backfill the hole when the job is done. Contractors using the air system can switch instantly from high pressure for excavating jobs to low pressure for use of auxiliary air tools.
The FXT50 air vacuum excavator is available with a series 10-200 cfm and 250 psi and series 12-300 cfm and 250 psi.
The FXT50 air vacuum excavator delivers the same great performance as the FXT50 truck vacuum excavator. Ditch Witch dealers will mount the FXT50 air vacuum excavator to the single-axle truck of customers' choosing, and can customize the truck with toolboxes and other support equipment (like a 1,020 cfm blower, 3,000 psi water system flowing 5 gpm).
