We at Dig Different are excited to announce the launch of our new Pumper Trader online auction platform dedicated to vacuum trucks, trailers and equipment. Whether you’re an industry professional in septic service, grease trap pumping, hydroexcavation, drain cleaning or sewer maintenance, this platform will connect you with serious buyers and sellers who know the value of hardworking equipment.
Built with contractors and service providers in mind, Pumper Trader auctions make it easy to list, bid on and buy trucks entirely online. From secure registration to real-time bidding to final sale, the process is transparent and efficient. Sellers can create auctions and track activity, while bidders have a streamlined experience with clearly defined buyer premiums.
How it works for sellers
In celebration of our auction platform launch, sellers can take advantage of free listings for all of April. The process begins by filling out this online form at pumpertrader.com (there's no word limit on the seller's description). Once the form is submitted, our team will review your listing to ensure accuracy and compliance with our terms. After approval, your auction will go live on the scheduled start date.
During the auction, buyers can bid in real time. When the auction ends, we’ll notify you of the outcome. If your item sells, we’ll contact you with the winning bid amount and bidder’s contact information. If your optional reserve price isn’t met or no bids are placed, we’ll notify you.
How it works for buyers
For bidding, you’ll need to create an account using your first and last name and register as a bidder through our trusted payment processor, Authorize.Net. After verification, you’ll be able to browse auctions and place bids. You can also sign up for notifications to stay updated.
A sniping clause allows you the ability to respond to last-minute bids. If a bid is placed in the final two minutes of the auction, the auction’s end time will be automatically extended another two minutes. If you're the highest bidder when the auction ends, you'll be notified of your win.
We’ll automatically process the buyer’s premium using your registered payment method. This fee is paid to COLE Publishing and is calculated as follows:
• 7% for bids under $50,000;
• 6% for bids between $50,000 and $100,000;
• 5% for bids over $100,000; and
• A minimum buyer’s premium of $750, and maximum of $15,000.
After successful payment, we’ll securely share your contact information with the seller and vice versa.
